Sidings of the Afternoon Screenings – 2021 Fall

This fall Sidings of the Afternoon has been invited to screen at a variety of film and art festivals, on a variety of surfaces. Cultural events have been very innovative since the beginning of the pandemic, with many festivals screening online, or in hybrid ways. EXiS in Seoul, South Korea, had the opportunity to screen films in person, at proper cinemas, which led to the silver-screen premiere of Sidings of the Afternoon this September. Critics’ Choice Award – Milan Machinima Film Festival

From March 16 to 21 this year, the MILAN MACHINIMA FESTIVAL showcased SIDINGS OF THE AFTERNOON, among many other audiovisual non-interactive works produced with video games otherwise known as machinima. This year they selected 25 works of machinima shorts created by 18 artists representing 7 countries. GEEK GIRLS on NFB

Geek Girls (2017) has arrived to its first online destination. From March 22nd, 2019 the film is available on the website of the National Film Board of Canada. NFB.ca is an award-winning online streaming site, featuring over 3,000 productions. They showcase films that take a stand on issues of global importance that matter to Canadians—stories about the environment, human rights, international conflict, the arts and more. GEEK GIRLS in 2018

2018 has been an amazing year for my film Geek Girls (2017). In January we had our cinema release across Canada. Geek Girls screened in three cities: Montreal, Winnipeg and Vancouver. The screenings were hosted by the Canadian Cinematheque theatre chain. In the spring, we continued our festival tour. Among many other, I had the pleasure to attend the Cleveland International Film Festival, where the film screened a whopping three times and was nominated for several awards.
